Challenge Success

Yay~ I beat the 30 day drawing challenge, and successfully!

(I wanted more frames, but until I learn how to get timing by frames and not fragments of a second in photoshop, I'm stuck)

Day 29 Lumpy Space

Day 29 = somewhere you'd like to visit. Adventure Time's Lumpy Space. It's just so colourful! (colours grabbed from screen shots - my colour sense isn't up to par yet)

Day 28 - Hippo thing

Day 28 = ANYTHING. Nother quickie. Gibbled hand.

Day 27 = Something you love. Butter tarts.

Day 26 – Creative Sink

Day 26 = Something you dislike.

There are those who inspire you everytime you talk to them. The opposite also exists. People like any other, save for a special ability. They talk and sound like any other. But they are a creative sink. Just entering into proximity drains the colour from your world. Talking to them monochromes life. They sap your creativity, they put out your spark. Beware, the creative sink.

Day 25

Day 25 = scenery. A couple quick layouts.

Day 24

Day 24 = A couple. Another junkit post.

Pillow

Day 23 = Something you need. Another one of those thinking questions. I cheaped out and went with sleep/ my pillow.

Silent Tears

Sad Bob. Day 22 = Something you miss. Reboot. "The hunt begins"? No, sadly... it won't.

Gibbley cause last minute. Spent the entire day thinking about what I miss. Only pops up with 20 minutes left...

Day 21

Day 21 = something you want. Well, gotta cold. I want it to stop. Now.

Borderlands is Fun

Day 20 = Something Orange. More of Borderlands' Gaige!

30day colour

Just some quick colours. Colour scares me, so I will slowly fight it off.

Day 19 bleh

Day 19 = Something new. Spent most of the day contemplating what constituted new. Got borderlands 2 recently. That will have to do, since I'm almost out of time. Here, have a super rushed quickie.

Day 18 = Just a doodle.

Day 17

Day 17 = favourite plant. The vanilla orchid, if only cause vanilla comes from it. VANILLA.

I also like snapdragons.

Inspiration

Day 16 = Inspiration. AndroidArts. I stumbled onto this site recently, and have slowly been going through the pages. He goes through old games he enjoys and revisualizes them, and shares his process and thoughts as he goes. These drawings are a pale imitation btw. I was trying to get a feel. (as such, several of these were referenced)

Family - Rough stuff

Before I can stylize a person I know, I usually do these horrid 'realistic' quickies. Otherwise it's hard to get any semblance. Especially when some signature features can't make the shift. (ie: prominent cheeks) Especially for girls. Though every line can help with likeness, it also ages them really fast. Using the minimum to get the maximum possible is a hard balance to preserve.

Family

Day 15 = family portrait. Yeaaaah, ended up being separated. And the bottom's just a sketch I liked. And the top one has one glaring problem that I really should have spotted. BUT! My arm is finally starting to feel like it used to.

Oh yeah, top's my sister. Bottom is mom.

Day 14

Day 14 = Fave fairy tale. Jack and the Beanstalk will do.
